The Government Affairs Council is the proactive advocacy arm of the 9th Island Chamber of Commerce & Foundation, ensuring the interests of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) businesses, small enterprises, and underserved communities are represented in local, state, and federal policy discussions.

We monitor legislation, build relationships with policymakers, and provide members with opportunities to engage directly in shaping pro-growth, pro-community policies. From economic incentives to workforce equity, the Council works to create an environment where businesses can thrive and communities can prosper.
